A film festival with a universal theme
Created in 1984 by Elio Di Rupo, the Mons Festival has been exploring for three decades the theme of “Love” through an international program composed of a large number of unreleased films in which quality and pleasure of cinema meet.
A meeting place in renewal
Relaunched in 2019 by a new team and a new dynamic, the Mons Festival is an intercultural and intergenerational film event, a meeting place for the general public and moviegoers to share the emotions of the big screen and meet with film personalities.
An international event anchored in a city that loves culture
Rich of a long history and a singular identity, the festival shines for several decades on the international level. Nearly 4,000 guests from all continents walked the cobblestones of a city that became European Capital of Culture in 2015.
